A brand-new Captain America Brave New World trailer. We will now thoroughly examine and dissect this matter. Identify any Easter eggs you might have overlooked. Make every effort to contextualize situations in a way that makes sense given the plot we know. Additionally, I believe that the most recent reshoots included some of this. I'll point it out, and while we're on the subject, let's talk about some recent reports and why, of course, you shouldn't believe anything you read online because this teaser was so hyperbolic. Easter eggs. Items you may have overlooked in the overall plot of the recently released Captain America Brave New World trailer.
Captain America Brave New World - Trailer Review

The movie begins with Isaiah Bradley, a character first introduced in *The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, now imprisoned for his role in a recent mind-control incident involving an attack on the President. Right from the start, as the title card appears, it’s clear that something is different. The title card has an intentionally vintage, old-school aesthetic, with visible grain added to the film’s lettering. This grain isn’t just subtle texture—it’s deliberately applied to give the movie an aged, retro feel.
When you compare most of the footage from this trailer to scenes from the first trailer, it’s evident that this grain effect has been added in post-production. This was done intentionally to create a vintage, old-school vibe throughout the film.
Speaking of which, what’s up with this use of formalism in the MCU? And no, I don’t mean formal as in black-tie attire. I’m talking about formalism in the sense of using the film’s form itself to tell the story. We haven’t seen comic book paneling like this since Ang Lee’s *Hulk*. This approach brings old-school comic book vibes, which I really appreciate. Pairing that with the grainy texture and vintage title cards is all about making the movie feel like a classic throwback.

Speaking of new gear, we finally get a look at the new Falcons flight pack. This is our first glimpse of him in costume. It’s clear that he’s now taking on the sidekick role alongside Falcon. There seem to be quite a few tech upgrades involved, so I'm guessing both outfits are coming from the U.S. military. As we’ll see in a few frames, it looks like President Ross is planning to make Captain America an official military position as he suggests at the start of the film."

We see Red Hulk make what seems to be his first public appearance, judging by the reporters' reactions. This raises the question of whether the story might include a twist, similar to the original comic storyline, where it’s believed he’s been assassinated when he hasn’t. This would give the Leader the chance to "reset" Thaddeus Ross, as hinted by the ominous setup we see here: “Reset Ross. Reset America” appears at the bottom, with an open skull and exposed brain, a blood-draped Captain America flag, and newspaper clippings arranged like a conspiracy board. It’s clear we’re in the Leader’s lab, setting up a complex, sinister plot.
It looks like we might have misunderstood Thaddeus Ross's situation. Instead of collaborating with the Leader to become the Red Hulk, it seems like he’s actually been working his own angle. In the trailer, the Leader mentions, “Who’s playing?” and we also hear Captain America’s voiceover hinting that someone has been pulling the strings all along.
The transformation scene where Thaddeus Ross becomes the Red Hulk is absolutely incredible. I really appreciate this detail: when his hand slams down on the podium, you can see the effects of his anger. As the Hulk gets more furious, his strength just keeps skyrocketing, and with the Red Hulk, that intensity translates into heat. His skin literally radiates warmth, and he's so strong that anything he comes into contact with risks melting. This aspect actually got hinted at a few days earlier with some toy leaks. The Legends figure for Red Hulk mentioned this, and it's why adamantium is set to play a key role in the story. We can expect Red Hulk to be able to melt vibranium, which adds an exciting twist to the plot.
RED HULK |
The reporter points out that they should be green, right? I’m guessing this is the first time he’s publicly shown himself as Red Hulk, possibly even the first time he’s transformed. Now we have Red Hulk confronting Captain America. You can see he’s still in the same shorts he wore during the transformation. I’m assuming this is their initial encounter, and if this is part of the final battle in the third act, then fine, but I doubt that’s how it will play out.
The first time Sam encounters him again, he might not be fully prepared to confront the Red HULK. Heat and Vibranium may not be effective, and to support this idea, you can pause this moment here, which appears to be from the same fight, with some civilians visible to his right, suggesting this took place in a public setting. Saba is positioned over his left shoulder, and if you examine Sam Wilson's outfit, you'll see it's severely scorched across the front. This clearly indicates that he won't be ready for the Red Hulk during their initial encounter.
I don't believe this is the third act and final battle. I suspect there will be more cameos as well. We know Captain America and his counterpart Steve Rogers will become an enemy of the state, as he gets arrested at some point in the film. This seems to be a homage back to The Winter Soldier, which is one of the best Marvel films ever according to many fans. Marvel Studios has been very public about wanting to recapture that same vibe and energy for this new film, though that will be a difficult task given how acclaimed The Winter Soldier is.
As I mentioned earlier in the prologue, many of you who follow the channel might have seen reports about test screenings not going well and rumors of extensive reshoots. This movie has been labeled as a potential mess by some. But here’s why you shouldn’t put too much stock in those reports: just from watching this trailer alone, there’s a lot to be excited about.

I'm incredibly excited about this upcoming movie. The prospect of seeing the Red Hulk battle Captain America, as portrayed by Sam Wilson, is truly the stuff of dreams. However, based on reports I've seen, the film has faced some production challenges. Apparently, test screenings did not go well, leading to extensive reshoots. So while the trailer looks amazing, there are indications the final product may be a bit of a mess.
It's unwise to take claims about the film at face value. Even a large test audience doesn't necessarily reflect the broader public's reaction. While the trailer looks impressive, that's no guarantee of quality. Personally, I'm excited for this Marvel movie and can't wait to see it. However, we shouldn't blindly believe rumors or claims, as anyone can falsely state they attended a test screening. Unfortunately, there will always be those who reflexively criticize Marvel projects, regardless of merit.
What are your thoughts on the trailer? I'd be curious to hear if you agree that it looks awesome. I'm sure I didn't cover everything, but I'd love to know your take on it.
